St. Andrew's First Aid is the premier provider of First Aid training & services in Scotland. St. Andrew's First Aid teaches over 20,000 people every year throughout Scotland vital life-saving skills.
St. Andrew's was founded in 1882 as St. Andrew's Ambulance Association. In 2006, St. Andrew's Ambulance Association became St. Andrew's First Aid
St Andrew's First Aid is split into several regional executives. The Grampian Executive is responsible for providing the first aid services provided by St Andrew's First Aid in Grampian.
The St Andrew's Ambulance Corps were formed in 1904 to bring together under one administration all the First Aid units throughout Scotland. They are the volunteer First Aiders who provide the services provided by St Andrew's First Aid, such as first aid duties at public events and training.
There are two Corps Companies within the Grampian area, Aberdeen and Keith; The Aberdeen company was formed in 1968 at the city's Woolmanhill Hospital and has continued to provide training courses & First Aid cover at events in Aberdeen and the north east of Scotland.
